Attorney Michael Kendall Successfully Argued Before the Florida Supreme Court

by | Sep 25, 2012 | News

Michael Kendall argued before the Florida Supreme Court on Friday, September 7, 2012.  Michael and Marks Gray attorney Mary Bland Love represented a physician who was sued for medical malpractice.  Michael and Mary successfully obtained a summary judgment in favor of their client from the trial Judge in Jacksonville.  That decision was appealed to the First District Court of Appeal and Michael successfully defended that appeal writing the appellate briefs and delivering the oral argument.  The Plaintiff then sought review by the Florida Supreme Court on the basis of a believed conflict of law.  Michael prepared the jurisdictional and merit briefs on behalf of his client and recently argued in Tallahassee before the Florida Supreme Court on behalf of his client that the decision below is correct and that there is no conflict of law.  This was Michael Kendall’s first appearance before the Florida Supreme Court.
