H-1B Cap Has Been Met

USCIS announced that the FY 2012 cap of 65,000 H-1B petitions has been reached. USCIS will no longer accept H-1B petitions for new employment until April 2012. However, they are still accepting petitions filed for persons exempt from the cap such as H-1B extensions, petitions to change employment and petitions for concurrent H-1B employment.
