The 115-page order upheld most of the sections in HB 56, including those that allow the “reasonable suspicion” searches during traffic stops and require public schools to check the status of incoming students. Sections blocked included those that make it illegal to transport or harbor illegal immigrants and one which prevents illegal immigrants from enrolling in public universities.
