The Marks Gray Immigration Team regularly helps clients with L-1A Visas for Intra-Company Transferees – Executive or Manager. This month, we are highlighting the success story of a Canadian employee at a virtual queuing technology company.
The candidate first came to the United States in 2011 on an L-1B visa, which is for intracompany transferees with specialized knowledge. He was fortunate enough to be promoted to an executive position, which made him eligible for an L-1A visa for intracompany transferees for executives or managers.
We prepared a strong petition highlighting the candidate’s experience with the company, specialized knowledge, reasons for the promotion, and evidence that the new position qualified for the manager or executive category.
Our documentation, up-to-date knowledge of USCIS’ requirements, and thorough preparation led to a great result: an approval of the L-1A visa!
After receiving his visa approval, the candidate wrote:
“You guys did it again! There are no words how I can describe the feeling I have right now. Thank you guys so much.”
His employer was just as happy with the results:
“Great work everyone! Thank you so much for helping us keep one of our best! Beyond thrilled!”
The Marks Gray Immigration Team is proud to have helped them retain their talent!
