We are seeking to add a skilled Estate Planning Attorney to our team that is exceptionally capable of handling cases from open to close.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Draft and implement estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related planning instruments.
  • Advise individuals, families, business owners, and clients on estate, gift, and wealth transfer planning strategies.
  • Counsel clients regarding business succession planning and asset protection.
  • Administer probate estates and trusts, including advising fiduciaries throughout the administration process.
  • Prepare and review probate and trust administration documents and filings.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in complementary practice areas to provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
  • Participate in business development, networking, and community involvement to expand the firm’s estate planning practice.
  • Stay current on changes in estate planning, probate, tax, and trust laws.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
  • 5+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with taxable estates, business succession planning, and advanced estate planning techniques is preferred.
  • Portable book of business is welcomed but not required.
