Marks Gray, one of Jacksonville’s oldest and most respected law firms, announces the expansion of its litigation services practice. Associate Attorneys Brittany K. Love and Bryce S. McColskey joined the firm in July 2024.
Brittany Love’s practice focuses on high-exposure liability disputes on behalf of self-insured and carrier-insured corporate clients and individuals. She also has experience defending suits involving product liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, contract disputes, commercial vehicle liability, and subrogation claims. Ms. Love began her legal career at the Office of the Public Defender for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. She transitioned to the in-house litigation team at Farmers Insurance where she gained valuable civil litigation experience. Prior to joining Marks Gray, Love practiced at a national insurance defense firm.
Love earned her Bachelor of Arts in English summa cum laude from the University of Florida and earned a Juris Doctor at Washington and Lee University School of Law. She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Jacksonville Bar Association.
Bryce McColskey focuses on matters involving medical malpractice and commercial litigation. He also handles a variety of other civil litigation claims. Prior to joining Marks Gray, McColskey worked for a national employment litigation firm as well as a national insurance defense firm, having represented both medical providers and business entities.
McColskey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of North Florida and earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is an active member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, serving on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyer’s Division. He is also a member of the Florida Bar. He serves on the Board of Governors for University of North Florida Alumni Association and volunteers his time to the All Nations Soccer League (ANSL) in Jacksonville.
