Marianne Lloyd Aho is Certified Circuit Court Mediator and a civil litigator who has focused her practice on liability defense and commercial litigation work for over twenty years. Ms. Aho practices at the trial and appellate levels and her general liability practice includes: automobile, premises liability, products liability, property damage, trucking and transportation law, and UM/UIM.

Ms. Aho is a member of the The Florida Bar, a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, the Jacksonville Women’s Network, and the Chester Bedell Inn of Court (1998-2002, 2003 present as Master level member). Ms. Aho served on a Florida Bar Grievance Committee from 2008-2011, including as Vice Chair from April 2011 through September 2011. She is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and co-Chaired its Judicial Relations Committee (2012-2013). She served on the Board of Governors from 1999-2003; and served as a Board Member of the Young Lawyers Section from 1996-1999, a Board Member of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. (1994-2000), and served as Secretary for the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel (2004-2005). Ms. Aho was named 2013 ‘Chair of the Year’ by the Jacksonville Bar Association.

Ms. Aho appeared in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012 and Florida’s Legal Elite edition of Florida Trend Magazine . She has also been named to the Florida Super Lawyer list consecutively since 2008. Only 5% of the lawyers in Florida earn the Super Lawyer honor. Marianne L. Aho also achieved Super Lawyers’ Florida Top 50 Women designation for 2013.

Ms. Aho’s speaking engagements include, “Damages in Wrongful Death Cases,” (Atlanta, Orlando) and “Trucking Law & Motor Vehicle Accidents,” (Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa).
